Bulameh; Ethnic Food of Golestan Province

Bulameh is one of ethnic foods of Golestan province. This food is like Halem about which we will explain in the next post.

Ingredients

[icon name=”calendar-check-o” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]Animal oil (in sufficient amount)

[icon name=”calendar-check-o” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]Sugar (4 cups)

[icon name=”calendar-check-o” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]Slices of Pistachios and almond (to put around the food)

How to cook?

  1. First, you should put rice in bowl of water for nearly 24 hours.
  2. Throw away water of bowl and fry rice in a pan with oil.
  3. Boil fried rice in a pot with water for 8 hours so that the oil is absorbed and rice has become soft.
  4. Add sugar to pasty rice and rile.
  5. When sugar solutes, your food is ready.
